Albany Wind Farm to Camp Kennedy Bibbulmen Overnight Hike (Members only)

Expression of interest is sought from WAFBC members attending Torbay Beach Holiday 2020.

This is a ~18km overnight walk suitable for walkers with some overnight experience. Starting from Albany Wind Farm, Sandpatch Road, we will follow the coastline to Mutton Bird Campsite for an overnight stay and then continue the next morning to Camp Kennedy. Transport is required to initially shuttle walkers to Albany Wind Farm for the start of the walk.

There may be an option for day walkers (especially with small children) to join us for the initial part of the walk with amazing view of the rugged southern coastline and the Albany Wind Farm.

Please consult the whiteboard in the mess hall at Camp Kennedy for up to date information. Date and Time are to be confirmed at Camp Kennedy.

Minimum suggested gear:

• Overnight full packs
• Tents as well as sleeping gear. We are not relying on the huts as they could be full
• Food for daytime munch and dinner etc
• Minimum 2-3L water per person, we’ll fill up at the hut for the journey home
• Sturdy shoes
• Clothes for all weather
